This is the scene of a really horrific accident which took place recently, involving a heavy duty truck and a smaller car.
Miraculously, the driver of the smaller car escaped death after making a decision to change his tyre just seconds before the accident.
Local reports say that the heavy duty truck crushed the smaller vehicle along Parliamentary Extension road by Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Bypass flyover in Calabar, Cross River State. The heavy truck ran straight into the car, crushing it completely. The driver would have died instantly if he were inside it.
An eyewitness, Akiba Ekpenyong said no causality was recorded.
“No life lost." he said "The man (driver) was to change his tyre and fortunately, he saw it coming before he escaped."
