The residents and market people at Okirighwre market in Sapele, Delta state, have publicly disgrace a young girl who allegedly killed her baby in the area.

A Facebook page, Sapele Oghenek, has taken to the social networking platform to post the photos of a young lady who was disgraced yesterday after being accused of witchcraft and also killing her new baby.
It was gathered that the accused who sells fish at Okirighwre market in Sapele, Delta state, was followed by a crowd of residents who rained insults on her and called her a witch.
According to them, they tried to give her a public humiliation in order to drive away the 'evil spirit' from her body according to their tradition.
The poster wrote: "Report enter studio say some group or crowd storm the route from Amukpe to Okirighwre by second Total Filling Station where our new camera man for manage get visual to snap them,as dem dey shout "witch" and dey sing follow one young girl,wey dey sell ice fish for Okirighwre market and dem dey accuse her say,she kill her pikin wey she just born new intentionally,as dem catch her winch for her actions. Them give her public disgrace to drive the bad spirit wey dey her body according to tradition."
