Pete Edochie, Nkem Owoh mourn death of colleague, Peter Bunor

As Nollywood stars come to terms with the demise of one of its pioneer members, Peter Bunor, veteran actors - Pete Edochie and Nkem Owoh - have expressed shock at the death of the actor following a protracted battle with stroke.

In an industry that has lost some of its leading lights in the past couple of years, veteran Nollywood actors, Pete Edochie and Nkem Owoh are yet to come to terms with news of the death of their colleague, Peter Bunor, who passed away in Asaba, Delta State at the weekend.

Speaking with PUNCH, Edochie said he was shocked to hear of Bunor's death, while Owoh, who just returned to Nigeria from Ghana, where he had gone to shoot a film, said it came to him as a surprise.

According to Edochie, "I worked with him a couple of times. He was always a good company to work with. We bear same first name and we got along very well. I will miss him".

On his part, Owoh said, "It is really sad news. Please, let us talk later. I will call you back".
