IGP Idris Ibrahim
The Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, failed to appear before lawmakers to answer questions over the alleged maltreatment of Senator Dino Melaye during his arrest and detention by the police.
Idris who was expected to appear before the senate after he was invited for the second time, instead sent a representative. He had failed to appear in person the first time.
The order paper released on Senate's twitter handle had listed him as a guest expected in the house yesterday.
