A talented and beautiful woman who featured mostly in northern movies has died after a long battle with an undisclosed illness.
Hauwa Maina
Nigerian actress, Hauwa Maina, has died at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano State after a protracted illness.
She died on Wednesday night. Maina was one of the most popular faces in Kannywood. She was well-known for her roles in such epic Hausa movies as ‘Queen Amina’ and ‘Bayajida’.
Her exit has been described as a great loss to the nation as her skills will surely be missed.
