Family members of an All Progressives Congress, APC Chairmanship candidate have been left in a state of despair following his sad death today.
Killed APC Chairmanship aspirant in Delta state, Jeremiah Ogboveta
Photo of an All Progressives Congress, APC Chairmanship candidate, Jeremiah Ogboveta killed during an altercation today in Delta state has surfaced.
Ogboveta was until his death was the chairmanship candidate for Jeremi Ward III in Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state.
Oghoveta was confirmed dead by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Andrew Aniamaka at Okwagbe Community, Jeremi Ward 3, Federal Ward 10 in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The deceased was allegedly stabbed by one Tete Pippah, who accused him of hijacking electoral materials, which eyewitnesses affirmed, had not even arrived.
Oghoveta was said to be loyal to the Chief Great Ogboru/Senator Omo-Agege faction. Pippah, the alleged murderer, who’s said to be on the run, belonged to a faction said to be opposed to the Ogboru/Omo-Agege faction.
