Horror As Trader's Head Is Blown Off By Gunmen In Kwara For Refusing To Sell His Cigarettes

A trader who refused to sell his cigarettes to some gunmen in Kwara state has suffered an unbelievably tragic fate afterwards.

Gunmen said to be numbering five have killed a cigarette seller identified simply as MM, allegedly for refusing to sell it to them, Punch Metro reports.
 
Sources told journalists in Ilorin, Kwara State on Tuesday (today) that the seller was shot in the head in his shop at Gaa Akanbi area of Ilorin by one of the suspected cultists.
 
Sources said the fleeing suspects had stormed the cigarette seller’s shop to buy cigarette.
 
They added that the gang members were enraged when the trader told them that he had no cigarette, even when one of them pointed to a cigarette pack in the shop.
 
They stated that MM told the suspected cultists that the remaining cigarette pack had been paid for by someone and that he could not accept money for it again.
 
They stated that the suspects were enraged when the trader told them that the buyer was on his way to collect it.
 
One of the suspects reportedly shot the cigarette seller on the head, and then entered the shop and took the pack of he cigarette while the victim was in the throes of death.
 
The Kwara State Police Public Relations Offier, Mr. Ajayi Okasanmi, confirmed the killing of the cigarette seller.
 
He said, “I learnt that there was a killing in Gaa Akanbi area yesterday night, but we are still investigating the incident.”
