The end has not been heard of the war of words between former TripleMG First Lady, Emma Nyra and record label boss, Ubi Franklin, as the sultry singer makes shocking claims that she, alongside other members of the label, which includes Iyanya, Tekno and Selebobo, were physically and verbally "terrorized" for years.

It is no longer news that Made Men Music Group (TripleMG) boss, Ubi Franklin and his record label first lady, Emma Nyra have parted ways, albeit, bitterly following claims and counter-claims of a love affair gone sour.

While Ms Nyra denied what was an industry kept secret that she was ever romantically involved with her record label boss, Franklin countered, claiming they were once an item.

According to reports, the once chummy relationship between the duo packed up after the TripleMG exec proposed to Nollywood actress, Lilian Esoro, presumably, shunning his signee, who all the while was waiting in the wings.

The proverbial pack of cards collapsed beyond re-arrangement when Franklin in a well-publicized interview, claimed to have spent heavily in promoting Emma Nyra without commensurate returns.

Subsequently, TripleMG refused to renew Emma's contract and she walked away without looking back.

However, in a twist of events, the singer, in an interview with VANGUARD, alleged that the record label boss "terrorized" her and other members of the group for years.

While denying that she walked out on TripleMG purportedly because Franklin dumped her for Ms. Esoro, the "elele" singer insisted that she never dated him and went on to drop the bombshell.

"Ubi and I never dated. Rather he terrorised me for years. He abused me and other members of the label with physical and verbal force. This is why I left Triple MG the first time. He claims he spent money on me but failed to mention that he never gave me my payment for all the tours I have done alongside Iyanya (the arrowhead of TripleMG). The true story lies between me and other members of Triple MG who have all chosen to be silent because of fear of one man.

"I do not support abuse of women or men. That is why I left. I don't want to be involved with anything that has to do with Ubi Franklin ever again", Emma Nyra explained. "Honestly, I don't want to see my name associated with Ubi in any way. Let these lies die down. I am moving on with my career. Thank God", she said with an air of finality.
