Nigerian musician, Banky W has described Chimamanda Adichie’s statement that she has trouble with men holding the door for women because they think women are weak as ridiculous.
Chimamanda made the statement on “The Daily Show” with Trevor Noah on Wednesday.
Banky W who is married to actress, Adesua Etomi shared his view on social media. Banky while opposing Adichie’s views noted that chivalry is done not because women are a weaker sex – but because some men just want to be romantic.
He also lend his voice to a past incident where Chimamanda also confronted Former US Secretary General Hillary Clinton where she questioned her on why her twitter bio carried the title of ‘Wife’ first before all her personal achievements.
