So Romantic! Super Eagles' Player Proposes to Girlfriend on the Pitch (Photos + Video)

Nigerian International, John Ogu went down on one knee on the pitch to propose to his girlfriend after his Israeli league team, Hapoel Beer Sheva won their match.

 

Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu, proposed to his girlfriend, Chiugo after helping his club trump Macabi Petahwas 5 – 2 at the Arthur Vesermil Stadium.

 

However, the midfielder took to social-media to express his feelings. Using his tweeter handle, Ogu tweeted: “Thank you great God. Great result and above all she said YES!!!!.”

 

The 27-year-old play-maker, finally revealed to Complete Sports that the couple will be keeping the details of their wedding private “the plan is between both of us and it has started.”

 

However, Nigeria’s Anthony Nwakaeme, scored a brace in the 1st and 89th minutes of the game.
