Why Buhari Won't Attend Fayemi's Campaign Rally On Tuesday

President Buhari will be an absentee at the campaign train of Mr. Fayemi as it kicks off in Ekiti State, South-western part of Nigeria.

President Muhammadu Buhari will not attend today’s campaign rally of Kayode Fayemi, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State.
 
A presidency source told DAILY INDEPENDENT that Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the Vice-President will lead the delegation to the state.
 
He said the president is expected to close the campaign and not to open it which means he will only attend the grand finale of the campaign.
 
“President Buhari will not be at the Ekiti APC rally on Tuesday. But I can confirm that Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo will be in attendance"
