A young footballer has finally become the first player to get a red card at the ongoing World Cup.

 

Sanchez receives a red card

 

Carlos Sanchez, a Colombian footballer, has become the first player to get a red card at the World Cup 2018.

 

He received the red card  on Tuesday when he was dismissed for a handball offense in the match against Japan.

 

 

 

Japan’s Shinji Kagawa scored from the resulting penalty in the sixth minute to take the lead in Saransk.
