The family and friends of Kayode Gabriel, a Nigerian police officer are currently not in a happy mood as tragedy befalls them.
The police officer has been reported dead today after getting hit by a vehicle during a rally which held in Ekiti state.
Local reports show that the deceased, who was with the State Intelligence Bureau (SIB), was due for promotion to the rank of ASP next week before he was killed in the unfortunate incident.
The officer was reportedly knocked down at Fajuyi area of Ado Ekiti by a vehicle during the rally in the area. .
