According to Vanguard reports, popular gospel musician, Yinka Ayefele had quite a rough weekend in the hands of the local boys in Akure, Ondo state.

This is as a result of his alleged refusal to settle 'awon boys' after collecting 3 million naira performance fee to perform at the burial of  85-year-old Madam Ebunoluwa Lydia Odumakinde.

The thugs had sent a delegation to Ayefele's band leader to ask for their own share of the 3 million, but when they were later turned down, they went wild and disrupted the after party, breaking chairs, bottles and injuring some guests.

The man in the eye of the storm, Ayefele had to be smuggled out of the party because the hoodlums were hell bent on extracting their own share from Ayefele's fee after threatening not to allow him go scot free.

Reports have it that about fifteen people were injured after the chaos had died down.
