Nigerian doctor, Chioma (@Deekachy_md) has taken to Twitter to share the inspiring story of an elderly woman, Alhaja Alakija, who according to her has lived with sickle cell anemia for 94 years.
Dr. Chioma shared the story to inspire people living with the condition to know that there is hope of living long afterall. This comes after some have been spreading the belief that Sickle Cell condition is a death sentence.
