Nigeria's Goalkeeper, Uzoho Speaks On Being Under Pressure

The youngest goalkeeper in the World Cup, Uzoho has spoken about the pressure of confronting Iceland this evening in a heated match.

Francis Uzoho, Super Eagles first-choice keeper has assured that he won’t be under pressure during Nigeria’s match against Iceland.
 
The 19 year-old said he won’t allow the burden of expectations to weigh him down as they face a crucial test in today’s group D game.
 
Uzoho, who plays for Deportivo La Coruna of Spain gave the assurance during a press conference.
 
“I know what Nigerians expect from their goalkeepers. I just try for now not to think about them so it won’t get to me,” Uzoho said yesterday.
 
Despite appearing for Deportivo La Coruna’s team B, Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has entrusted him with the gloves for the tournament.
