The effect of an overdose of viagra took a toll on a man leaving him with an erection for five days until he was able to sort medical attention.
Daniel Medforth ended up with a five-day erection after swallowing 35 pills of Viagra. The effect of the Viagra left him in agonizing pain. The 36-year-old was examined for 36 hours by a medical professional who provided him help after his wife called an ambulance. Mr. Medforth spent two days in the hospital before he was discharged and ordered to have a good rest.
He told the Sun: "I ended up feeling sick, dizzy and hallucinating, everything I saw was green.
"I had a massive erection that would not go away."
He found out that Viagra overdose could result in a very serious problem. Mr. Medforth was grateful his wife came to his help by calling an ambulance. He was thankful that the effect of the overdose did not result in something too severe and disastrous.
He said: "It wasn't a permanent erection but every time I brushed against something for five days it sprang into life and it was no use to me.
'Fortunately my wife has forgiven me and I realise I have been very, very lucky."
