Photos have shown the shocking moment a police officer got the mob treatment when he killed a woman in broad daylight.
Local reports show that the unnamed policeman accidentally killed the woman, whose identity has not been revealed, inside the Oba International Market in Anambra. A mob quickly gathered and took hold of him.
The angry mob reportedly stripped the officer unclad immediately and made him sit beside the dead woman. He was also battered severely as many angry traders took turns to ht him what whatever they could lay hands on.
Police officers later arrived to whisk him away to safety.
