Serious tragedy has reportedly occurred in Isinweke town in Ihitte/Uboma Local Government Area of Imo State, leaving a casualty behind.
The accident happened today after a speeding Range Rover driver drove straight into some residents in the area.
Local reports show that the driver was on top speed before hitting two men who were by the roadside. One was said to have died on the spot, while the other survived but was badly injured after breaking his leg.
It has been reported that the wounded man was later rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The fate of the speeding driver could not be determined as at press time.
