Condolences have been pouring in since Dbanj lost his son as former President Olusegun Obasanjo has also added his voice.

Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo has expressed sadness over the loss of singer D’banj's son, Daniel D’Third. D’banj lost his 13 months old son last night after the little baby drowned in a pool at their home.
Obasanjo simply took to his Twitter page to send his prayers and condolences and wrote: "My heart and prayers are with Dapo and his family. No parent should ever have to bury a child. As a parent, it's the worst thing imaginable. May God give you the fortitude to bear the loss, Dbanj."
