The alleged death of over 200 residents in Berom and other Local Government Areas in Plateau State following a fracas with suspected herdsmen has refused to deter Governor Lalong from his happy life.

Governor Simon Lalong of the All Progressives Congress in Plateau State has been criticized for wearing a big smile in the face of a flood of blood experienced in his state.
The lawyer was pictured in high spirits as he met with the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo who visited the troubled state to access the ruins left behind by the marauding herdsmen.
According to an eyewitnesss, a traditional red carpet was rolled out for Mr. Osinbajo to walk on in the face of the crisis at hand. The court of public opinion hasn't favoured Governor Lalong since the picture of him smiling surfaced.
It would be recalled that a mass burial was conducted yesterday for some 86 victims of the mayhem in the state.
