She said this on one of her
tweets which reads:
“Royals marrying royals and commoners actually think their opinion matters,” She continued later:
"Is (sic) really not easy being a commoner. First, you don't have an opinion and when you think you do you get attacked for it."Many people have reacted angrily to this because they consider it an insult to Nigerians who have the right to express their opinions on any matter. Some people who followed her tweet called her different names for calling Nigerians "commoners".
Favourlove1 said this on Nairaland: "A very big ntooor! To all gullible nigerians. Its a pity these people groom their children to be arrogant from infancy. U see? No politician gives a sht about u guys. The earlier you come to terms with that the better. So nxt time when they come seeking your assistance in form of votes use ur head. Voting them in means continuos enslavement. She was actually referring to Sanusis new wife... But that's her business. One day the chicken would come to roost."
Some even believe that her father got to the level he is at now by stealing public funds. One commenter on Nairaland called begwong said: "hey rukaiyat,u betta mind ya sef. your fada that nearly sold nigeria not until obj pegged his wings. you guys are living on nigerians stolen wealth. idiata!"
Olucat a commenter on Nairaland also said the same thing by refering to Atiku as a "a highly corrupt father".
"Is she "Royal"?, hell No. She's just a daughter of a highly corrupt father...ask OBJ" Olucat Said.
Many people believe that this is just how the Nigerian elite view other Nigerians and consider them as worthless.
People like Uruba23 thinks otherwise and added a little humour: "I think Oga Atiku is blessed to have such beautiful daughters..... grin grin grin if Royals are marrying Royals like Oga Sanusi that is not a crime if it is obligatory,but funny enough all this people taking jibes on her won't mind marrying her if she agrees,and marrying Atiku daughter na jackpot to some of them...."
Many people have been reacting angrily to the Emir's decision to marry a 4th wife and an 18-year-old Sa’adatu Barkindo-Musdafa, the daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa, Muhammadu Barkindo-Musdafa for that matter.
