Chief Samuel Oluyemisi Falae CFR, 80, simply known as Olu Falae, who is a Nigerian banker, administrator and politician from Akure, Ondo State has retired from politics.

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Olu Falae, has resigned from his position as the chairman of the Social Democratic Party SDP.
Falae stated in his resignation letter that is ailing health is part of the reasons for his resignation.
