A former Ondo State Speaker, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, was this morning kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
Olabimtan, is one of the governorship aspirants of All Progressives Congress (APC) for this year’s gubernatorial poll in the state.
According to Daily Post, a political associate of Olabimtan, who preferred to be anonymous, disclosed this development.
The former Speaker recently held a media chat with journalists at his residence in Akure, the state capital, where he revealed his intention to contest in the Ondo governorship election.
