APC Rejects Benue South Rerun Result, Protest to INEC Office (Photos)

  

After rejecting the result of the Benue south senatorial rerun election and suspending some party leaders, the All Progressives Congress members today staged a protest to the INEC office in Makurdi Benue State.

The protest was headed by the party's candidate in the last concluded rerun election, Daniel Onjeh. The protesters rejected the result which declared David Mark of the People's Democratic Party as the winner accusing the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC of playing double standards during the rerun election.

Placards carrying inscriptions like: "No to impunity and corruption in INEC"..."It is not too late for INEC to reverse it's declaration of David Mark to inconclusive election"..."Equality b4the Law! INEC Stop this Double standard"..."INEC Don't Present certificate of return to David Mark"..."What is sauce for the Goose, is good for the Ganders! Kogi, Bayelsa Taraba and Anambra etc"..."Benue R.E.C. Is corrupt, remove him now" were seen at the protest.
