A mother and daughter have caused commotion online after an innocent photo of them kissing at a wedding surfaced online.

A picture of a Nigerian mother kissing her grown up daughter in the mouth and lips has caused controversy online as opinions are divided over whether it is proper or not to do such a thing in public.

Although the women did the act as a way of expressing happiness, many people have taken it out of context as they contest it that it is very un-African to display such affection.

Well, the controversy the picture generated is still brewing but the woman many have noted did it out of a kind gesture.
