Kemi Olunloyo has eaten the humble-pie to seek public assistance as she continues to languish behind the Port Harcourt prison bars over allegations of defamation.
Kemi Olunloyo has been confined to prison custody for about two months after publishing a slanderous piece about a popular Salvation Ministries pastor, David Ibiyeomie. Ms Olunloyo alleged that Mr. Ibiyeomie was siphoning church funds and having a secret romance with a controversial Nigerian actress and movie producer, Iyabo Ojo.
Followers of Ms. Olunloyo were shocked to the announcement that she needed funds to cater for her legal expenses incurred thus far. Rumours have it that she is also having difficulties in meeting her stringent bail conditions.
The plea was shared on her instagram account today, 8th of May, 2017 reads:
"Please Donate to Kemi Olunloyo's Legal Expenses Fund. She Is Still in Port Harcourt Prison. WE THANK YOU."
