A woman has been left in a really horrific shape after her ex-husband tied a rope round her neck and dragged her on the road with his car.

Kader K in hospital after being dragged through the street tied to her ex’s car

A man known only as Nurretin B has been jailed for 14 years after he tied his ex-wife to the back of his car and drove her through the streets of a German town.

According to Metro UK, Nurretin B, he stabbed his wife in the stomach and chest before tying a noose round her neck.

He then dragged her at high speed through the town of Hamelin, north west Germany, in front of their two-year-old son.

The court heard that the boy now wakes in the night shouting ‘mama, ouch, mama, ouch’.

The attack came to an end when the rope snapped and people rushed to help her.

His ex-wife, Kader K, suffered serious injuries as a result of the attack and spent weeks in a coma in hospital.

He showed no emotion during his trial, but later told the woman during proceedings: ‘I am infinitely sorry for what I did to you and our son.’

Kader blocked her ears as he said this and refused to look at him.

Her lawyer said: ‘I have hardly experienced a case where the intention to kill was so clearly visible. It is an absolute miracle that she is alive at all.’

A judge said that Nurretin’s views of women had ‘no place in modern times’ saying they were outdated.

The couple married in March 2013 but they split two years later in May 2015.

Kader spent nearly six months in hospital

Nurretin routinely beat Kader when they were together but a month before the attack he said: ‘one of you two will soon no longer be alive.’

The attempt to kill her happened in November last year when an argument about money escalated.

After the rope snapped outside the Golden Chicken Grill in Hamelin, he went to police where he told officers: ‘It was me, it was me.’

Nurettin’s lawyer Matthias Waldraff said: ‘It is a horrible, extreme event, but it does not indicate a cold-minded, sober-thinking perpetrator, but someone whose soul was completely destroyed. Nurettin B Suffered from an extreme emotional tension.

‘The act was the result of a very complex prolonged development, at the end of which helplessness was turned into hatred.’

He was ordered to pay £100,000 compensation to Kader.
