Elections: Angry Mob Sets Car Ablaze After Finding It Laden With Weapons, Kills Suspect (Photos)

In what will come across as a really disturbing development, a station wagon golf alleged to have been overloaded with arms has been burnt to ashes in Gusau, Zamfara state.

 

The incident happened on Friday, February 15th, 2019. The car was set ablaze by some youths around the area before police arrived at the scene.

 

Two of the suspects out of three were arrested while one was killed on the spot. The suspects are believed to be working with politicians who are bent on causing violence during the general elections. 

 

 

The incidence occurred at anguwar dallatu area along new motor park station, Gusau.

 

It is on record that Zamfara state is now one of the strongholds of banditry, cattle rustling and kidnapping where possession of arms are common.
