Christmas truly did not start today. A photo has shown the precious moment people celebrated Christmas in Badagry as far back as 1923.

Nigeria has indeed come a long way as a nation. Here, our forebears are pictured acknowledging Christmas as far back as1923 when the colonial lords and mistresses were still swinging the big stick over us.

See the happy look on their faces. They were obviously enthralled with the event.
