A man who bought fruity pastry hoping to enjoy the feel of raspberry, got the shock of his life after opening his snack.
Kurt Harrison who made the shocking discovery
The man named Kurt Harrison sliced the raspberry turnover into half, expecting to see fruit and cream filling but was beyond shocked to find an entirely gross and bizarre finding.
The sweet-toothed cake fan has recounted how he was left "shocked" after he went to eat a raspberry turnover - only to discover boiled ham and a short, curly hair inside.
Repulsed Kurt Harrison says his dessert drama happened after his sister bought the family a teatime treat from a Morrisons supermarket .
But instead of satisfying their sugar rush, the Harrisons were left shocked by the piece of piggy in the middle.
the ham found in the pastry
Kurt, an NHS worker, said: "As I cut into my cake I was shocked to see a piece of pink coloured meat hanging out from beneath the pastry.
"When I opened it up to inspect it, there was a piece of ham lying in the middle.
"After scraping the cream off to be positive it was what I thought, there was another smaller piece of ham rolled up with a black hair sticking out from the middle.
"I debated whether or not to bother doing anything about it and decided I would take a photo and tweet Morrisons asking for an explanation."
Kurt, 26, put his unusual treat on Twitter and it has gone viral .
He said: "Hundreds of people from across England retweeted and commented on the post. It was a huge surprise."
Morrisons have launched an investigation into the strange filling.
Kurt, from Preston, Lancs, said: "In all fairness Morrisons were just as shocked as I was. I've returned the cake as requested and it is being investigated further.
"They have done what they can to deal with it."
A spokesman for Morrisons said: "We are investigating and we can't comment further until we know what it is."
