Meet the Daring Dog That Tracked Down a Suspected Drug Dealer Who Escaped After Police Car Chase (Photos)

An act of bravery has made a dog become the darling of Bangor area in North Wales after the daring dog successfully tracked down a suspected drug dealer.

The story of a heroic and brave dog has made it to top internet sensational tales after the dog successful chased down a drink and drug offender forcing his arrest.
 
A man, who has not been named, was arrested last night after a canny canine named Fiona followed his trail through bushes after he made his escape following a car crash.
 
According to a report by Dailypost UK, the 27-year-old man from the Bangor area lead North Wales Police traffic cops on a short chase near the city before crashing his Mazda off the side of the road.
 
He was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop after an accident, drink driving, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of class a drugs and obstructing a PC in their duty.
 
He has been bailed by police.
 
Second arrest
 
On Facebook the North Wales Police dog section wrote: “Congrats to PD Fiona who once again successfully tracked and located a male who had crashed into a hedge and ran away from police having driven dangerously along the A55, failing to stop whilst under the influence of drink and drugs!”
 
PC Scott Martin tweeted a picture of the crashed vehicle and wrote: “Failed to stop for officers, picked up A55 failed stop for us. Spiders 'won't stop criminals in Blaenau Ffestiniog being caught on camera'

“Short pursuit into #Bangor. Driver arrested.”
 
A North Wales Police spokesman said the 27-year-old was in custody in Caernarfon shortly before 11pm. The arrest was the second success if it’s kind by PD Fiona and handler PC Jackie Edwards in little over a week. Tiny puppy dumped in Flintshire in middle of Storm Frank gales 'lucky to be alive'
 
On January 4 Fiona caught a suspected drink driver in Saltney Ferry after following a 42-year-old suspect for a “considerable distance” across water-logged fields and heavily-filled water drainage ditches.
 
The man, from Buckley, has been charged with drink driving and will appear before Mold Magistrates on January 19.
