I Had Orders from Above to Make Sure Olisa Metuh Arrived Court in Handcuffs - FCT Comptroller of Prisons

 

The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Olisa Metuh who was granted bail by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja earlier today came in for his bail hearing in handcuffs.

According to Breaking Times, a call was put across to the FCT Comptroller of Prisons to ask why the accused, Chief Olisa metuh was in handcuffs unlike the other accused persons standing trial for allegedly receiving sums of money from the “$2.1 Billion” Arms Fund.

The Comptroller was quoted as saying ; “I have orders from above, to make sure accused person (Chief Olisa Metuh)  appeared in Court in handcuffs”..

When he was further pressed to reveal who gave the “order”, he cut the line.
