Please Help!! My Conscience is Troubled, Did I Do Wrong to My Friend's Relationship?

One of my very close friends came to pay me a visit in my office, and we chatted as usual, not until he brought up his personal issues and raised up one that is troubling him. 

 

He narrated to me how he and his girlfriend were having a very serious problem in their relationship because he always insists that he will use protection whenever they are making love, but she disagrees with him, causing a quarrel between them. This issue has been causing so many problems between them because she does not like it when he uses protection; she says she wants me to give it to her skin to skin. Her reason is that she felt he is making her a prostitute, and she seriously doesn’t like that. If he truly loves her, then he wouldn't mind doing it skin to skin. He gave her excuses, one of which is that he doesn’t want to become a father now, that if he doesn’t use protection, he will release his seed inside her, and she will become pregnant.

 

He asked her to wait until they get married. He has been dating her for up to 6months, but because of this issue, they have always been quarreling. The pressure she was mounting on him was becoming much, and he asked for my advice. I told him that the best thing is to take her to a hospital to run several tests on her, and if she is free from impurities, he can be doing it skin to skin with her. He later called me on the phone, saying that his girlfriend refused following him to the hospital. I was shocked and wondered why. Although he was confused, but he was so blindly in love with this girl. I didn't trust her, and my conscience kept telling me that she is evil.

 

Because of this, I tried doing my best to make him stay away from that lady so as to avoid the trap she set for him. Well, after much contemplation, I came up with a plan for us to test the girlfriend of his. I encouraged my friend to invite her to his house and pretend he wants to do it with her raw; that is skin to skin and without any protection. If she happily comes, we will use drugs on her favorite drink, make her fall asleep and take blood samples from her hand and do a quick test.

 

My friend agreed to this new plan of mine and invited his girlfriend to his house, promising her that he will do it raw with her. She happily agreed and was overjoyed. When she came, she looked so charming and was friendly. My friend introduced her to me, and she smiled. As we were discussing, my friend went in to get drinks for us, and I distracted her so that she doesn’t pay attention as he prepared the drink for all of us.

 

I finished my drink and pretended I was going home because it was already night. She drank her own and was preparing to see me off. However, after some seconds, she felt sleepy and slept off. This was because of the drug my friend poured in her drink. I hurriedly took out my instrument and quickly tested her blood. To my surprise, she was HIV positive! I had to redo the test, and the result was the same.

 

My friend nearly fainted when he saw the result from the test I carried out. I ran the test on him, and he was negative. My friend was so shocked by what happened, and I had to stay with him all through the night to make him feel relieved from the shock she caused him. Forty minutes later, his girlfriend woke up and was shocked that I haven’t left. She asked if am not going home; I told her no, that am staying with them, that there are a lot of things we have to discuss. She looked puzzled.

 

She angrily went inside the room and slept because she was hoping to do it raw with my friend. My friend and I didn't sleep; we stayed awake throughout the night in the parlor. When morning came, she pretended she was answering a phone call and shamefully packed her belongings and went away.

 

Now my conscience is disturbing me because I felt I have broken their relationship and because I made my friend drug a girl and took her blood sample without her consent. My friend thanked me for saving his life, but my conscience is still troubling me. Please talk to me, did I do something bad?
