Man Allegedly Shot Dead by Customs Officers While Smuggling in Bags of Rice (Graphic Photo)

 

 

The young man trying to smuggle in bags of rice through Sokoto border was been allegedly killed after the bullet from the Custom officials' gun struck him.

 

A source revealed that this happened yesterday afternoon February 28th at Illela Road, Sokoto.

 

The driver of the vehicle was allegedly shot dead by customs officers after he refused to stop when asked to. As he made to outrun the Customs officials, his vehicle was shot at and a bullet got him in the process.
