Shock as Traditioal Ruler Murders Insane Man to Steal His Large Portion of Land

 

An unnamed traditional ruler and two others have been arrested and detained in Owerri, the Imo State capital by the police for allegedly killing one Joseph Ihueze over a parcel of land in the same area. 

 

According to police sources, the deceased who was insane inherited a large portion of land from his father, but the traditional ruler and two other persons killed him to enable them take over the land. The conspired and snuffed life out of the man to claim his land.

 

Because of that, angry youths revolted against the traditional ruler causing tension in the area.

 

The matter is still under police investigation as efforts are made to recover the insane man's corpse.
