A poem of love celebrating beauty, women, love and taking you on a journey of sweet words to make your soul happy.
For My Woman - A Poem
Onyinye, this night
I will nibble on your love
Like a sweetened biscuit
And drink from the wine of your heart
For soulful satisfaction
In your love, I will dance around
Like a man whose chi answered his prayers
With a shower of goodies
Falling like the august rain, without end
You are like a praise offered on Sundays
By faithful hearts filled with rejoicing
Like a fine cloth, I will wear you with happiness
And douse your face with my special scent
Oh! Give me your hand
I will trace through it
For the future we share
Will be recounted by sages innumerable
The villagers have gathered under the ucheku tree
To tell of its outcome
As they smile at the blazing crystal light of the moon
To crackle in laughter
Sing me this song of love
I want it only in your voice
Oh nne m! If you sing of love this sweet
My mother will dance without stop
For the voice you sing with are of angels
Your love is like the touch of a woman, tender
And the very voice from your mouth
Sounds like songs from the mouth of a country boy
Whose lover gave a fat kiss
Gather my thoughts in your palms
Sieve it and see
My memory is filled
With the days of our solitary walk
Down the plain holding hands
And smiling like two brainy fools lost in love
What more can I write to please you, asa?
Tell me, for my soul is here filled with your cheers
And it will sit there forever
Take this ring
Let it remind you
Of my promises of devotion and love
For your love, baby.
