Horror as 10-year-old Boy Shoots 7-year-old Sister Dead with Father's Gun

 

A 10-year-old boy has shot his 7-year-old sister dead with the father's gun.

 

According to the police, the suspect identified as Ebenezer Danso was playing with the gun when he pulled the trigger and hit his 7-year-old sister, Ernestina Adade. The unfortunate incident happened at Wassa Attaku in the Twifo Praso District of Western Ghana.

 

The incident was confirmed by the young boy's uncle, Peter Kwesi Red. According to him, the children's father, Fofoe Danso who is a hunter forgot to remove the bullets from the gun and left it in an open space in the room. The 10-year-old while playing hide and seek with his sister took the gun and shot her in the head.

 

The police have now arrested both father and son. They are being held at the Attaku Police Command. However, the father had revealed that he was not around when the incident happened. 

 

Wassa East District Police Commander, Superintendent Ohene Gyan said even though the man quickly rushed out and saw his son had shot his sister in the head, he could not save her.

 

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Twifo Praso government hospital morgue pending autopsy.
