Reports have it that Jonathan and Buhari held talks behind close doors yesterday night to discuss major issues affecting the Nigerian nation.

President Muhammadu Buhari and former President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday night, met behind closed doors inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting, which took place around 9:00pm on Thursday, was held at the private residence of the President and was reportedly held to discuss the Niger Delta crisis.
A source told a reporter that President Buhari reassured the former president of his highest regards and made it clear to him that there was no plan to arrest him or his wife, Patience over the ongoing corruption clampdown.
The meeting was reportedly brokered by former President Olusegun Obasanjo shortly after news broke that Jonathan had taken refuge in Abidjan fearing that he would be arrested in he returned to Nigeria.
