Innocent Idibia, the Nigerian music legend, who is also known as 2Baba, has urged fans and well-wishers to remain calm amid reports of a marital crisis with his wife, Natasha.
In a video message shared on his Facebook page, the singer described the situation as “getting out of hand” and “dangerous,” warning that the ongoing speculation could put his wife at risk.
“I know what fans can do, I know what people can do. I am perfectly okay.
"But this is putting Natasha at risk. It’s not fair to anyone,” 2Baba said.
He called on friends, family, and fans to “cease fire” and allow the matter to be resolved privately.
“People will get their issues sorted at home, not today. Please, I beg you. I am perfectly fine. Please, I’m okay,” he added.
"I am perfectly okay... this is putting Natasha at risk. I need everybody to cease fire. We are going to resolve all these issues."
