Nigeria's women's basketball team had a rough start to their World Cup campaign in Berlin, losing 99-81 to South Korea on Friday.
The defending African champions couldn't keep up with the Koreans, who controlled most of the game and won by 18 points.
It's another tough loss for Nigeria against Asian teams at the World Cup.
The squad has now failed to win their opening game at the tournament multiple times before.
South Korea came out aggressive and kept the pressure on throughout, while D'Tigress struggled to find their rhythm and catch up.
Despite trying hard, Nigeria just couldn't close the gap.
The team faces Hungary next in Group B. They need a win badly to stay alive in the knockout race.
