The Lagos State Police Command has swung into investigation after a suspected child abductor, identified as Chizoba Maduegbunam, was caught in the act.
According to Vanguard, 17-year-old Chizoba Maduegbunam was caught by residents, yesterday morning, while attempting to abduct a child at Oto-Awori.
It was gathered that the community members took the suspect to the Oni- Ijanikin palace.
Confirming the report, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Dolapo Badmos, said a woman was indeed caught in Ijanikin attempting to steal a child.
She was taken to Oni-Ijanikin palace.
