Bianca Ojukwu, the wife of the late Biafran warlord, Odumegwu Ojukwu, is currently in a serious mourning mood.

Bianca Ojukwu has lost her aged mother.

Bianca's mother, Mrs Caroline Onoh, the wife of former Governor of old Anambra State, late Chief Christian Onoh, died yesterday in Enugu, aged 81.

While speaking with NAN, the second son of the former governor, Dr Ken Onoh, confirmed his mother’s death.

Onoh, who is also a Special Adviser to the Enugu State Governor, said that his mother died on Tuesday at the Enugu State University Teaching Hospital (ESUTH), Park Lane, Enugu after a brief illness.

He described his mother as a great and caring woman as well as a devout Catholic and prayed God for the repose of her soul.

The former lawmaker said that burial arrangements would be announced in due course.

Mrs Onoh was survived by four children, including Bianca Ojukwu, wife of late Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, the Ikemba of Nnewi and Eze Igbo Gburugburu.
