Ondo: Senator Ajayi Boroffice Picks APC Form, Meets National Party Chairman

 

The Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Prof Ajayi Boroffice, on Wednesday picked the nomination form to run for the Governorship of Ondo State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), according to the Nation.

Immediately after obtaining the form, Senator Boroffice had a close door meeting with the National Chairman of the APC, Chief John Oyegun, at the party’s national Secretariat in Abuja.

The Senator was accompanied by his wife, Professor (Mrs) Olusinmibo; Hon. Babatunde Kolawole, Member of the House of Representative; Rt Hon Kenneth Olawale, former Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly; Dr Pius Osunyikanmi; Hon. Diran Iyantan, former Commissioner for Local Government and chieftaincy affairs in Ondo State.

Others in the Senator’s entourage include his personal aides, Barr. Ade Ajanaku, Senior Legislative Aide; Mr Kayode-Adeniyi Fakuyi, Special Assistant on Media; Mr Gani Muhammad, Media Director of Campaign Office and others.

 

In other news, a former Nigerian Bar Association President, Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu is also participating in the party's primary election with power hands in Ondo State endorsing him.

 

It is envisaged that the primary election will be a keen contest between Akeredolu and Boroffice.
