Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is currently meeting with Senate President Bukola Saraki and House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara.

The President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, are currently in a closed-door meeting with Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

According to a report by Punch, the meeting is believed to be one of the efforts aimed at resolving the issues arising from the Senate’s recent rejection of President Muhammadu Buhari’s $30bn foreign loan request and the 2016-2018 Medium Term Expenditure Framework.

The meeting reportedly started at about 2:00pm with the arrival of the heads of the two chambers of the National Assembly in the Vice-President’s office.
