South-south political warhorse and All Progressives Congress, Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi was spotted doing a 'clinical survey' of the city of Port Harcourt as he braces up for the highly heated December 10 Rivers Re-run election.

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi was spotted taking a stroll on the streets of Port-Harcourt. The former Rivers governor who was surrounded by his security details, aides and colleagues is in the state ahead of Saturday's re-run election.

Part of security measures put in place by security agencies is the restriction of movement within the state from 12:00 midnight on Friday to 8:00pm on Saturday to ensure a smooth process.

The election has been deemed a frontal challenge between the camp of Mr. Amaechi and former APC gubernatorial aspirant in the state - Dakuku Peterside as against their former bosom friend, governor Nyesom Wike.
