Naira Appreciates Against the Dollar...See Latest Value

 

On Monday afternoon, March 6, the Nigerian naira gained against the dollar exchanging at N460/$1 at the parallel market. The latest improvement is owing to the decision of the Central Bank of Nigeria to flood the market with dollars as it implements its new Forex policy.

 

This morning, the naira had exchanged at N465/$1.

 

 

The naira had on Friday, March 3, closed at N465/$1. Financial analysts believe that the naira will record tremendous improvement in the coming weeks as the CBN tries to resuscitate the local currency.
