The ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman, John Oyegun, and its National Working Committee visited the National Assembly and are locked in a meeting with the Senate Caucus of the party.

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun was seen in a closed door meeting with Senators over issues bordering on the crisis rocking the party.
In attendance at meeting were the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, the Senate Leader, Senator Ahmad Lawan, Senators and the National Secretary of the APC, Mai Mala Buni.
It was gathered that after the opening session that lasted for about 10 minutes, journalists and aides of the Senators were excused as top on the agenda was the face-off between the Presidency and the lawmakers.
In their separate remarks, Oyegun and Lawan described the meeting as historic.
