The 2017 Appropriation Bill has been passed by lawmakers of the House of Representatives after scaling through third reading.

House of Reps Speaker, Dogara

The Federal House of Representatives has passed the 2017 budget after adopting its report from the appropriation committee.

The House approved a total sum of N7.44 trillion.

The passage came six months after President Muhammadu Buhari presented the draft spending bill to the National Assembly.
