An end might just be in sight to the messy family drama between Emmanuel Adebayor and members of his family after his younger brother, Rotimi, pleads for forgiveness and asks for the family to be united once again.
Rotimi and Emmanuel Adebayor
Out-of-form Tottenham FC striker, Emmanuel Adebayor, who recently took to the social media to expose all the drama going on in his life with his family members, may probably allow reason to prevail and sheathe his sword as his brother, Rotimi Adebayor, who was the subject of his Facebook post recently, has begged for a truce.
The ex-Togolese international, who promised to divulge dirty details about his family in a three-part series, had said he was tired of keeping the travails his family had subjected him to over the years and was now making it public so others can learn.
But his brother, Rotimi, who was accused in the second part of theft and irresposible behaviour, has pleaded with the former Arsenal striker and other family members to forgive him as he had learnt his mistakes.
Rotimi Adebayor told the BBC that he's "on his knees" asking for the family to be together again.
"I'm so sorry for everything that I've done wrong... I want to beg, forgive me. I want him [Emmanuel] to try and be with us again. To sit like a family, do things together. I pray to God that moment is coming soon. People are laughing at us, but they will see us and they will cry... God's time is the best, I wish my brother good luck", he said.
